VOLUNTEER ON THE DAY OF THE AIDS WALK!
All activities take place on Sunday, October 14 unless otherwise noted.
Times vary according to position.

SIGN-IN
AIDS WALK SHIFT: 6:45 a.m. - 12:45 p.m.
MANDATORY ORIENTATION: Saturday, October 13 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
**An alternate orientation time is available on Tuesday, October 9 from 6:30 p.m. until 8:30p.m.
Be the first face participants see the morning of AIDS Walk Los Angeles! Sign-In Volunteers check in walkers and collect the funds they have raised. You must be friendly, outgoing, detail-oriented, have a valid photo ID and must be at least 16 years old. Click Here to be a Sign In Volunteer! 

SECURITY
AIDS Walk Shift: 7:45 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Mandatory Orientation: Saturday, October 13 from 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Help with Crowd Control and Security during the AIDS Walk Los Angeles Opening and Closing Ceremonies. Security Volunteers must possess excellent leadership and communication skills. Click Here to register as a Security Volunteer!

TEAMS
AIDS WALK SHIFT: 6:15 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
MANDATORY ORIENTATION: Saturday, October 13 from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Volunteer in the heart of the action, where hundreds of teams meet on AIDS Walk day. A team is any group of two or more walkers that raise money and walk together at AIDS Walk Los Angeles. In the Teams Meeting Area, volunteers assist with setting up Meeting Stations and guiding walkers to their designated meeting spots, where they gear up for the walk and their show team spirit! TOTALING
AIDS WALK SHIFT: 8:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
NO ORIENTATION
Help us as we process donations and total the funds turned in by our participants on the day of AIDS Walk Los Angeles. Totaling Volunteers must be at least 18 years old and have some experience with a 10-key calculator. Click Here to be a Totaling I Volunteer!

We encourage everyone who participates in AIDS Walk Los Angeles to raise funds for the fight against HIV/AIDS. Therefore, we credit all of our volunteers with walking 10 kilometers. To assist you with your fundraising efforts, we will create a personal fundraising Web page just for you when you register as a 2012 AIDS Walk Volunteer. You can utilize your personal Web page to send fundraising e-mails to friends and family, track your donations, and get AIDS Walk volunteer information. Fundraising is certainly not a requirement, but we encourage you to give it a try - if you have questions about online fundraising or need assistance, please do not hesitate to contact our Volunteer Coordinator at nakeshiab@aidswalk.net or by phone at (213) 201-WALK (9255).
