AIDS Walk Los Angeles actively and continuously takes strides in making our event “Greener” by instituting recycling programs, encouraging public transportation, and by using reusable materials.
You can help AIDS Walk Los Angeles be even more environmentally friendly by participating in our new Green Walker program. The Green Walker program will not only save paper, but will save postage, which means that more money will go to the fight against AIDS.
Being a Green Walker is easy! To be a Green Walker you need to:
Have regular access to a computer to download all the
information/materials you will need
Encourage your sponsors to make their contributions online with a credit card
Be able to receive all of AIDS Walk Los Angeles correspondence by e-mail only
As a Green Walker you will:
Be able to skip the lines and go to our express “Green Walker Sign-In” area on the morning of the AIDS Walk Los Angeles
Receive a special AIDS Walk Los Angeles commemorative “Green Walker” pin
Help save the environment as you help in the fight against AIDS
