HELP THE ENVIRONMENT...BE A GREEN WALKER
AIDS Walk San Francisco actively and continuously takes strides in making our event “greener” by instituting recycling programs, encouraging public transportation, and by using
reusable materials. You can help AIDS Walk San Francisco be environmentally friendly by participating in our Green Walker program. The Green Walker program will save paper and
postage, which means that more money will go to the fight against AIDS.
Being a Green Walker is easy! All you need to do is:
• Have regular access to a computer to download all the information/materials you will need
• Encourage your sponsors to make their contributions online with a credit card or send cash/check donations into our office prior to AIDS Walk San Francisco and enter them as “offline donations” on your personal fundraising Web page.* (Click here for the office mailing address.)
• Be able to receive all AIDS Walk San Francisco correspondence by e-mail only
As a Green Walker you will:
• Be able to skip the lines and go to our express “Green Walker Sign-In” area on the morning of the AIDS Walk
• Receive a special AIDS Walk San Francisco commemorative “Green Walker” pin
• Help save the environment as you help in the fight against AIDS
